Foals
Concorde 2, Brighton, Friday, May 10
A FESTIVAL has announced an intimate show as part of its line-up.
British rockers Foals will play a small, by their standards, show at the 600-capacity Concorde 2 in May as part of the Great Escape Festival.
The show will be the spotlight event on the festival’s middle day, Friday, May 10.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow, separate to general Great Escape tickets.
The gig is being played in partnership with London-based music company Transgressive, which is celebrating 15 years in the music business.
Foals will be joined by two fellow Transgressive artists, Blaenavon and Boniface.
The show will be the first time Foals have played The Great Escape since they rocked the 350-capacity Horatio’s in 2007.
The 12-year absence means the Oxford rockers’ return to the seaside for the festival is long overdue.
Foals are currently on a worldwide tour in support of their number two charting album Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost, which was released in March.
It is the first part of a two-part record, the second half of which will be released in September.
Great Escape runs in venues across Brighton from May 9 to 11.
