CLARK BOULTON

Aged 39, of Montpelier Place, Brighton, admitted sending threatening messages for the purpose of causing distress or anxiety to a woman in November. Put under a restraining order until 2021, not to attend the woman’s address and not to contact her. Fined £108 and to pay £30 victim surcharge and £200 court costs.

GARY MURRAY

Aged 54, of no fixed address, admitted placing himself in front of Morrisons in St James’s Street, Brighton, to beg or gather alms, contrary to the Vagrancy Act 1824. Given one-year conditional discharge and to pay £20 victim surcharge. Ordered to engage with support services for drug and alcohol problems and to find permanent accommodation. Prohibited from going to the Royal Sussex County Hospital except in the case of a genuine emergency or pre-arranged appointment.

DANIEL WALLER

Aged 33, of Hollingbourne Crescent, Crawley, admitted harassing a woman with 58 abusive text messages and emails in three days in March this year. Given 16-week suspended prison sentence and ordered to attend 24 Building Better Relationships sessions. Put under a restraining order not to contact the woman and to pay £115 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

PAUL BRADBURY

Aged 56, of Mill Hill, Uckfield, admitted assaulting two men at The Peacock Inn in Piltdown and using threatening or abusive words.

Also admitted breaching a suspended sentence. Jailed for 26 weeks and to pay £300 compensation. Banned from the pub for two years.

MICHAEL JONES

Aged 47, of Jevington Gardens, Eastbourne, admitted using threatening or abusive language and behaviour likely to cause distress at the Arndale Centre in December, and breaching a suspended sentence for a similar offence. Fined £170 and to pay £100 court costs and £30 victim surcharge.

TARA COURTNEY

Aged 47, of Elphinstone Avenue, Hastings, admitted assaulting a woman in Hastings in December. Ordered to complete alcohol treatment for six months and attend 20 rehabilitation sessions, and to pay £85 victim surcharge and £150 court costs. Banned from The John Logie Baird Wetherspoon pub for one year.

RACHEL OCCARDI

Aged 30, of Alverstone Close, Eastbourne, admitted driving an Audi without insurance in March last year. Fined £270 and to pay £30 victim surcharge. Six points added to her licence.

NICHOLAS DEJERSEY

Aged 39, of Silchester Road, St Leonards, admitted assaults on a woman and a man in Hastings in April last year. Ordered to complete 100 hour of unpaid work and put under a restraining order not to contact the victims. To pay £150 in compensation to the woman, an £85 victim surcharge, and £620 court costs.

SALLY TREHERNE

Aged 54, of Wilton Avenue, Eastbourne, admitted sending a grossly offensive or indecent, menacing and obscene message. Given three-month suspended prison sentence and ordered to complete 120 hours of unpaid work. To pay £115 victim surcharge and £400 court costs.

BENJAMIN CUNNINGHAM

Aged 30, of no fixed address, admitted failing to comply with a community protection notice at Guildford Road in Littlehampton. Fined £120 and to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

LYDIA CUNNINGHAM

Aged 23, of no fixed address, admitted failing to comply with a community protection notice at Guildford Road in Littlehampton. Fined £120 and to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
