THIS month’s challenge for The Argus Camera Club competition – transport – brought in some amazing pictures.

As you can see from today’s collection, we’ve had planes, trains and automobiles as well as balloons.

But our winner this month combined the old, the bicycle, with a very modern creation, the drone.

Matt Dugard’s selfie, using a drone, was quite a feat and he might well smile as he rides along.

The camera club has come good again with some very creative pictures.

Argus editor Arron Hendy said: “Janet Levett’s picture really is eye-catching.

“She did not use Photoshop to capture the plane and the balloon together and so she nearly won our monthly competition.

“But Matt Dugard went above and beyond to win this month’s competition with the theme of transport.

“It must have taken some impressive skill to ride along and get a shot of himself using a drone.

“Well done Matt.”

He wins £50 for his efforts.

The theme for April is spring. We will of course welcome all pictures but we are especially looking forward to seeing pictures of wildlife.
