A DOG has been rescued from a horror crash this morning.

Three people were also involved in the crash on A29 near Pulborough at 9.40.

Two were taken to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester.

One person was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with “more serious injuries”.

The border collie is currently in the care of Sussex Police.

Pictures from the scene show two cars with considerable damage and two ambulances.

Fire crews also attended.

A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: “Two engines and a heavy rescue vehicle attended.

“On arrival, two people reported trapped were assisted from the vehicles and handed into the care of SECAmb.

“The vehicles and the roadway were made safe by crews. We left at 11.13am.”
