Aged 51, of Kingscott Close, Bexhill, admitted stealing vodka from Sainsbury’s in the town in September. Fined £40 and to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

RYAN JENSON

Aged 33, of Devonshire Gardens, Margate, admitted resisting PC Andrew Newman in Richmond Street in Brighton in February, using threatening or abusive words or behaviour, and failing to show up to court in March. Also admitted breaching suspended sentence for possessing a knife and assaulting a PC in Brighton in August. To complete 20 rehabilitation requirement sessions. Fined £120 and to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

MATTHEW REVELL

Aged 34, of Mill Brooks, South Chailey, admitted assaulting a person in the village in October. Must complete 70 hours of unpaid work and 12 days of rehabilitation. Put under a restraining order until 2021. To pay £100 compensation and to pay £85 court costs and £200 court costs.

Aged 38, of Lullington Avenue, Hove, admitted sending a message that was grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character in December. Put under a restraining order for five years. Must complete 80 hours of unpaid work and 30 rehabilitation sessions. To pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

Aged 45, of The Woodlands, Hove, admitted keeping an unlicensed Mercedes, without paying £83 in tax. Ordered to pay the back duty of £83 and fined £120. Must also pay £85 court costs.

Aged 29, of Down Terrace, Brighton, admitted keeping a motor vehicle that did not meet insurance requirements. Fined £66 and to pay £30 victim surcharge and £50 court costs.

Aged 48, of High Street, Henfield, Admitted keeping an unlicensed vehicle, without paying £23 in tax. Ordered to pay the back duty of £23 and fined £130. Must also pay £85 court costs.

OHRAN GIBB

Aged 22, care of Westbourne Street, Hove, admitted assaulting a woman and a man in The French Horn pub in Brighton in May last year, and damaging a police cell by smearing food all over it. Put under curfew for 28 days at his home between 8pm and 4am and to complete five rehabilitation sessions. Fined £188 and to pay £85 victim surcharge and £227 court costs.

Aged 37, of Pears Road, Hounslow, found guilty of driving at a speed in excess of 30mph in Preston Road in Brighton in December 2017, and failing to identify a driver in Shoreham. Fined £880 and to pay £85 victim surcharge and £300 court costs. Nine points added to his licence.
