A POPULAR TV personality will be making a special appearance at a food festival
Sunday Brunch presenter Simon Rimmer will be in attendance at the Foodies Festival, which takes place on Hove Lawns from May 4 to 6.
The TV chef, who co-hosts the mid-morning Channel 4 weekend show with former Soccer AM host Tim Lovejoy, will join a star-studded line up of chefs and bands appearing at the festival.
Simon will be demonstrating his cooking skills live in “Hoover Theatre” a pop-up tent on the lawns that will be in place over the course of the weekend.
Simon said: “Foodies Festival has really made its name as the UK’s best food and drink festival and I’m very excited to be joining this year’s line-up of exceptionally talented chefs in what’s set to be the best summer series of festivals yet.”
Simon will join the likes of MasterChef winner and Worthing native Kenny Tutt, Celebrity MasterChef winner John Partridge and bands such as Scouting for Girls, Boyzlife and Flash, a Queen tribute band.
The Foodies Festival is a touring event that attracts up 25,000 people a year from across the country. After Brighton, the festival will visit Bristol, London, Birmingham, Cambridge, Cheshire, Edinburgh and Oxford.
