A HOMEOWNER has been fined after failing to knock down his extension.
Leslie Savage admitted breaching a council enforcement notice to take down the structure.
The order had been made for the 53-year-old’s home in Bonnar Road, Selsey, in December 2015.
Savage appeared before Brighton Magistrates’ Court where it was revealed he had failed to demolish an extension and remove the debris from the land, in breach of Town and Country Planning Act.
Savage was told to pay a £721 fine, £700 court costs to Chichester District Council and a £72 surcharge.
