RAIL bosses have apologised after signal failures sparked major delays.
Commuters from Brighton have been hit by the problems at Three Bridges station on their way to London today.
Network Rail has apologised to passengers and said engineers have been working through the night.
Yesterday The Argus reported that there were delays of up to an hour.
Today, Network Rail boss Mark Killick said there is repeating circuit failure on the line between Three Bridges and Gatwick.

It means the system cannot tell if the next stretch of track is clear, causing safety fears for drivers.
Mr Killick said: "We'd like to apologise to passengers for the delays on trains between Three Bridges and Gatwick. We've had engineers working through the night to trace the cause of the fault and this testing is ongoing.
"While we continue to fix the problem, a reduced number of trains are running. Each train has to stop at the affected signal and get verbal permission from the signalling centre to continue their journey.
"This takes some time, so journeys may be longer."
