A MAN has been arrested after a huge police manhunt.
Ernie Taylor, 28, who was wanted in connection with an attack on two people in Shoreham yesterday, has been found in Brighton.
He has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and attempted grievous bodily harm.
He currently remains in police custody.
Officers were called to an address in Stoney Lane, Shoreham, at 10am yesterday after reports a man with a machete forced his way in and assaulted a woman and a man.
The victims received minor injuries not caused by the weapon, said Detective Sergeant David Dowells, of Adur and Worthing Investigations.
Armed police swept gardens in the area and canine units searching for traces of the suspect.
Shoreham Academy school, on Kingston Lane, went into partial lockdown while staff checked with police.
