CHOCCYWOCCYDOODAH has closed down after 25 years.
The chocolate and cake shop in The Lanes, renowned for its wild and wacky creations, has put up a sign in its window telling customers that is has ceased trading.
The outlandish chocolate sculptures were proudly displayed in the window of the shop in Brighton’s Meeting House Lane.
They became a must-see for every tourist to the city.
But now, the chocolate shop has closed its doors for the final time.
The sign on the door states: “Choccywoccydoodah has ceased trading. Please direct enquiries to Quantuma LLP.
Stephen Cornford, of Midas Touch Jewellers in Meeting House Lane, said: "I am very shocked.
"It is very sad news indeed.
"They were certainly creative people, seeing some of the sculptures they made."
Mr Cornford has been working in The Lanes for 23 years.
He said: "Choccywoccydoodah actually made my wedding cake.
"It is certainly very sad.
"They were different."
