FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a fire in an industrial building.
Smoke was seen coming from the building in Faraday Close, Durrington at about 4.30pm this afternoon.
Four fire engines were called to extinguish the fire.
A West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “We were called out at 4.30pm to reports of smoke coming from an industrial unit.
“Four pumps attended.
“The fire is now out.
“Crews used four sets of breathing apparatus.”

The crews left the scene at 5.54pm.
An East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “Fire service were called out at about 4.30pm after reports of a burning smell coming from an industrial building in Durrington.
“About four or five fire engines attended the scene.
“It is now being scaled back.”
