A 23-year-old motorcyclist dies in hospital after crash
A MOTORCYCLIST has died in hospital following a major crash.
The 23-year-old was driving his red Honda motorcycle along the A286 Lavant Road in Chichester at about 3.30pm on Friday when he crashed with a Volkswagen car.
The young man, from Chichester, suffered critical injuries and was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital where he died on Saturday morning.
His next-of-kin are aware.
A 66-year-old woman from Bognor Regis, who was driving the blue VW T-Roc was uninjured.
