A MAN has been injured after falling onto train tracks last night.
British Transport Police were called to a man who slipped and fell from the platform at Eastbourne train station at about 9pm yesterday.
He landed in front of a stationary train.
The man, believed to be in his 60s, injured his shoulder in the fall.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: "British Transport were called at 9.09pm on May 16 to a report of a casualty on the tracks at Eastbourne station.
"Enquiries revealed he slipped and fell from the platform and landed in front of a stationary train.
"The man, aged in his 60s, suffered a shoulder injury."
