A WOMAN has died above a central Brighton pub.
Police and paramedics rushed to Trafalgar Street this morning after someone was heard shouting from above The Great Eastern pub.
A woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Police assisted ambulance colleagues dealing with a woman found collapsed above The Great Eastern in Trafalgar Street, Brighton.
“Passers-by were alerted by someone calling from an upstairs window just after 9.30am on Friday.
“Sadly, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.”
