A HOAX 999 caller broke a court order to stop him contacting the emergency services.
Michael Gibson admitted breaching the order from an address in Seafield Road in Hove in March.
The 51-year-old made nine calls in a one-day period, after previously being told not to by Brighton Magistrates’ Court in 2017.
Gibson, of Somerhill Avenue, Hove, was given a 16-week suspended prison sentence and ordered to complete rehabilitation sessions with the probation service.
He must also pay a £115 surcharge and £85 court costs.
