As a token of gratitude for its support in protecting the community of Llanwrtyd Wells, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service has presented Charcroft Electronics with a plaque in acknowledgement of its contribution to the emergency service.

The Llanwrtyd Wells-based business employs two on-call firefighters which and said it is “proud to be helping the community”.

Station Manager Phil Morris, Powys Command, said on behalf of the Fire and Rescue Service that it is “grateful for their support”.

“We are proud to work with Charcroft Electronics in protecting the community.

“It is important to recognise the contribution of local employers who allow their staff to turn out to emergency incidents, on behalf of the Fire and Rescue Service.

“By allowing staff to serve as On-Call Firefighters, local employers such as Charcroft Electronics are ensuring that their community is as safe as possible.”

A Charcroft Electronics spokesperson said: “Well done to all the on-call firefighters, particularly those serving Llanwrtyd Wells.”
