A FORMER Royal Navy serviceman helped raise funds for lifeboat volunteers with his art.
Danny Ager put some of his paintings on display at Brighton Marina last week.
Working alongside the Marina Yacht Club, Mr Ager set up his workshop from his own boat which was moored there.
The 48-year-old Brightonian donated 25 per cent of his sales to the RNLI.
Previously Mr Ager served in the Royal Navy, seeing service in the Adriatic Sea between 1990 and 1995.
He said: “Once you have lived at sea you always have a connection with it.
“We often take the RNLI for granted, that is until we see people on lilos drifting out to sea or people in danger. They are totally selfless volunteers.”
