A CANNABIS factory has been found at a home in Brighton.
Police were responding to “welfare concerns” for a man in Hawkhurst Road, Coldean, when they found several cannabis plants and growing equipment.
A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of producing a controlled drug of Class B (cannabis resin) and assault with intent to resist arrest.
He has been released under investigation.
A picture from the scene shows officers finding the factory which had about ten large cannabis plants.
Brighton and Hove Police, who took the picture, said: “Keeping drugs off our streets in “Brighton and protecting our young people.”
