WHAT a delightful set of images we have today from our talented camera club members.

They really have captured the essence of spring in all its glory with these wonderful shots of flowers in full bloom.

Many thanks to Zuzy Papcunova, Jo Dowson and Rose Jones – three photographers who have brightened up our day with these stunning colours.

The walled garden at Preston Manor looks absolutely fabulous at this time of year and we’re sure many of our readers will be inspired to pay them a visit after seeing these superb shots.

The Level is also looking splendid with these beautiful white wisterias on show.

The Argus Camera Club picked the theme of nature and wildlife for a joint May and June competition to celebrate the renowned Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition which is on loan to Brighton Museum and Art Gallery from the Natural History Museum in London. It runs until September 8, so why not go along for some inspiration?

General admission is £6 for adults and £3.50 for children aged five to 18. Brighton and Hove residents get in for £4 and it’s free for accompanying children.

Our competition is run in partnership with Brighton Museum and our winner will get a £50 prize and two Brighton Explorer passes which give entry to the Royal Pavilion, the i360 and Sea Life Brighton.

Entries can be uploaded to the Argus Camera Club until the end of June and the winners will be chosen by staff from the museum and the Argus.

There is an additional category for youngsters under 14 and the prize will be Explorer passes for a family of four and £50.

Youngsters entering will need to have their pictures uploaded by someone old enough to use Facebook. They must be clearly marked as a young person’s entry.
