A MAN has died after falling from a cliff.
Emergency services were called to Seven Sisters near Seaford yesterday evening.
A South East Coast ambulance service spokesman said: “Yesterday at 5.09pm we sent a car to a report of a man who had fallen from a cliff near East Dean.
“Police and Coastguard also attended.
“Sadly nothing could be done for the patient who was pronounced dead at the scene.”
Newhaven and Birling Gap Coastguard also attended the scene.
A spokeswoman for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency confirmed they assisted Sussex Police with the incident.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "Officers attended, assisted by the coastguard and ambulance services, and a man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
"There are no suspicious circumstances and the coroner’s officer has been informed."
