AMANDA Holden’s new role as the Heart breakfast show host means she is reportedly the top-earning female DJ in UK radio.

It is believed the 48-year-old Britain’s Got Talent judge signed a deal worth £3 million to take up the role.

This means she overtakes Sussex star Zoe Ball as Britain’s highest-earning female radio show host.

Amanda replaced Spice Girl Emma Bunton as the Heart breakfast show host and, alongside Jamie Theakston, now broadcasts across the UK in place of the more regionalised programming.

Amanda and Jamie, who, like Zoe Ball, lives in Ditchling, took over from Sussex trio Tom Evans, Nicola Hume and Jack “The Lad” Hayes on June 3.

The pair have already received mixed reviews for replacing the popular Heart Sussex hosts.
