A THREE car crash is blocking the A27 and causing "very slow traffic".
The incident happened shortly before 8am in Shoreham.
An AA spokesman said: "The road is partially blocked and there is very slow traffic due to a crash.
"Three vehicles were involved on the A27 Old Shoreham Road Eastbound in Shoreham.
"There is congestion stretching back to North Lancing."
The crash is causing queuing traffic on several roads in the area, including delays around the Southwick Tunnel.
The AA spokesman said: "There are delays of six minutes on the Old Shoreham Road eastbound between the A27 Upper Brighton Road and the A27 Shoreham By Pass (Southwick / Holmbush turn off).
"There is an average speed of 20 mph but delays are increasing."
The spokesman also warned of four minute delays for drivers using the nearby Brighton Road.
The crash has now been cleared and the roads have returned to normal.
