THREE people were rescued after their jet-ski capsized.
Lee Hardy was visiting Brighton when he saw three people stranded at sea near Brighton Palace Pier on Monday afternoon.
He said: “There appeared to be three men all on the same jet-ski and they all started shouting and waving because the jet-ski was upside down.
“They appeared in distress and they were waving their arms.
“A life boat dingy went over and hauled the passengers into the boat.”
Mr Hardy said one of the rescuers tried starting the jet-ski but it smoke was seen coming from it and it had to be towed back to shore.
A spokesman from Brighton Lifeboat Station said: “We were launched to a capsized jet-ski with three persons on board.
“All three casualties were brought upon Brighton lifeboat and they were taken back to Brighton Marina.”
