On this day ten years ago Argus photographers had a busy day taking in three parades. The first took place in Lewes while the other two took place in West Sussex... Durrington and Worthing to be exact. Take a look at these fantastic photos and let us know who you recognise
First, the Durrington Festival gets underway with a parade through the streets of the town.
A number of youngsters were out supporting the parade and getting involved
Then hundreds of people take to the streets of Lewes for the annual parade through the town’s historic streets
Children and adults alike parade down School Hill during the carnival
The event is organised by The Rotary Club of Lewes Castle
Finally the Worthing Children’s Parade walking through the town
Hundreds of youngsters from across Worthing took part in the parade
They walked through the streets of the city and even onto the seafront
