A WATER main has burst on a busy seafront road.

Fire service and police are at the scene dealing with the incident on the A259, Marine Parade, Worthing. 

The Argus:

Part of the road has been closed and buses are being diverted while the leak is dealt with. 

A West Sussex Fire and Rescue Spokeswoman said: "We were called to an incident on Marine Parade, Worthing today at 11:46am.

"Two fire engines are in attendance.

"Marine Parade is closed in both directions between the junction of Heene Road and Worthing Pier."
