A WEATHER warning for thunderstorms has been issued by the Met Office.
People are being warned to expect torrential rain, hail lightning, disruption to travel, and flooding on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Met Office said homes and businesses could be flooded, bus and train services could be disrupted, and there is a chance of power cuts to places within the warning.
The yellow warning lasts from 6pm on Tuesday until 9pm on Wednesday.
To stay safe in thunder and lightning, seek shelter if possible.
If you find yourself in an exposed location it may be advisable to squat close to the ground, with hands on your knees and your head tucked between them.
If you feel your hair stand on end, drop to the above position immediately
