On this day ten years ago The Argus went to see a new hotel room that was decked out in lingerie. We also went to a summer spectacular at Goodwood. We dined and shopped at a special store in Kemp Town and we also caught up with the youngster who raised money for nurses.
Model Sally Reynolds (left) with Emma Sandham-King and Stevi Jelbart wearing their own Ophelia Fancy designer lingerie in the new Ophelia Fancy bedroom at the Hotel Pelirocco in Brighton
The group enjoyed tea in the room while modelling the outfits
During the shoot the underwear was hung from the ceiling - let’s hope it’s been taken down since
Goodwood Racecourse hosted a special summer spectacular complete with exotic dancers
Youngster Phoenix Rist of Brighton fundraised for The Martlets Hospice to buy new uniforms for the Martlets at Home nurses
Pictured are Fiona Genner, Alison Smith and Rachel Gardiner of Martlets who were extremely grateful to Phoenix (centre) for all his help in getting them their new uniforms
And The Metrodeco tea salon in Kemp Town is a place where you can go for a nice tea but also to shop - as at Metrodeco they also sell antiques
Imagine going shopping and being able to sample these delicious treats at the same time
