A SALON has been recognised for its hard work at a national awards ceremony.

Headmasters, in Jubilee Street, Brighton, scooped the Southern Award at the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final.

The finals took place in Battersea, London.

More than 1,200 of the hairdressing industry’s most successful people were there to reward those who have gone above and beyond in the past 12 months.

Each hairdresser submitted a model for the event and Headmasters managed to make it to the grand final.

The gruelling process started in the opening application rounds in January and from there the company progressed to the semi-finals before eventually making it to the grand final.

On the day of the final, some world-renowned hairdressers were brought together to judge each total look including precision of cut, flawless looking

colour and catwalk inspired styling.

The panel agreed that is was the Headmasters entry that was the best and suited the brief perfectly.

They said that the look of the Headmasters model was “an example of beautifully executed colour and demonstrated a clear understanding of the latest catwalk”.

The awards were hosted by former TOWIE star Mark Wright.
