ROSIE RALPH

Aged 26, of Middle Road, Shoreham, admitted sending a grossly offensive message that was indecent, obscene or menacing, and sending a message to cause annoyance or anxiety. Given a conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £20 surcharge and £85 costs.

KUNAL PATEL

Aged 23, of Longlands, Broadwater, admitted drink driving at Findon. Tested positive for 80 microgrammes (mcg) of alcohol per 100 millilitres (ml) of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg per 100ml. Ordered to complete 100 hours of unpaid work, with a £85 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 22 months.

TERRY PULITANO

Aged 34, of Rossiter Road, Lancing, admitted sending a grossly offensive message that was indecent, obscene or menacing. Ordered to complete 200 hours of unpaid work with a £85 surcharge and £85 costs. Put under a restraining order.

CHRISTOPHER WAY

Aged 37, of no fixed address, admitted criminal damage to a communal door in Lyndhurst Road, Worthing. Given conditional discharge, with £150 compensation.

ALAN WELSH

Aged 35, Cross Road, Southwick, admitted inflicting grievous bodily harm on a man in Shoreham. Put under a curfew for eight weeks between 9pm and 4am. Ordered to pay £2,000 in compensation, with a £85 surcharge and £85 costs.

CARL BROADLEY

Aged 36, of no fixed address, admitted harassment by breaching a restraining order for the fifth time and assault on a woman in Brighton. Given eight-week suspended prison sentence. To pay a £115 surcharge and £85 costs.

CHLOE MORDEN

Aged 32, of Nuthurst Place, Brighton, admitted using threatening behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. Fined £40, with a £30 surcharge and £40 costs.

RACHAEL TAULKE-JOHNSON

Aged 27, of Shelley Road, Worthing, admitted assaulting a PC. Given a conditional discharge, with £40 compensation and a £20 surcharge.

GEORGE SEAGER

Aged 73, of Briar Close, Brighton, admitted failing to stop after a road accident that injured another person, and driving without insurance. Put under curfew for four months from 4pm to midnight, and ordered to complete 25 rehabilitation sessions. To pay an £85 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for one year.

PETER SHAW

Aged 31, of Powell Gardens, Newhaven, admitted possessing cannabis, and breaching a suspended sentence. Fined £266, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs.

RICHARD FREEMAN

Aged 35, of Whitehawk Road, Brighton, guilty of driving without a valid licence or insurance. Fined £880, with a £66 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for six months.

LASELLS HAZEL

Aged 31, of London Road, Patcham, guilty of two charges of failing to identify the driver suspected of a road traffic offence in Shoreham to the police. Fined £660, with a £66 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for one year.

SAMUEL BUTLER

Aged 30, of no fixed address, admitted stealing a bag worth £645 and a watch worth £199 from Hugo Boss in Brighton, and failing to sign in to the police station in John Street as a sex offender. Jailed for 12 weeks, with £844 compensation.

EMILY BALDWIN

Aged 31, of Cowley Drive, Brighton, admitted drink driving in Falmer and obstructing police. Tested positive for 70mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath. Fined £294, with £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 20 months.
