A MAN died after falling off his bike and crashing into a road sign.
The 30-year old was driving along the A280 Water Lane, Angmering, near to the roundabout junction with Titnore Lane, when he came off his bike and hit the sign.
The accident happened just before 4.40pm on Monday.
Emergency services were called to the incident and the man, from Littlehampton, died at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident, but police are hoping to talk to anyone who may have seen the accident happen, or were in the area around the time of the crash.
A police spokesman said: “Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the motorcycle just prior to the collision to contact Sussex Police online or by calling 101, and quoting Operation Brook.”
