A YOUNG man was robbed after being threatened with a knife.
The 21-year-old was walking along Sompting Road near Lancing railway station at about 5.25pm on June 12 when a man approached him.
The suspect showed a knife as he demanded the young man’s bag. The victim feared being stabbed and handed it over. Luckily it was empty. He then ran south towards the seafront. The suspect is described as mixed race, aged 15 to 18, medium height, wearing a black bum bag, a grey or green jumper and dark coloured trousers. Officers are urging witnesses to report online or call 101, quoting serial 1118 of 12/06.
