KATIE Price’s son is to compete in a talent show.

Harvey, who is 17, will take to the stage at the St Ives Theatre, Cornwall, on June 29 as part of The Autism’s Got Talent Roadshow.

Harvey will be hoping to show off his keyboard playing skills.

The youngster suffers from a number of disabilities including autism, blindness, ADHD and Prader-Willi syndrome, a genetic disorder caused by loss of function of specific genes.

However Harvey has shown he has a natural talent for playing the keyboard and has been honing his skills on the instrument since the age of four.

Harvey, who is the son of former glamour model Katie and former Manchester United footballer Dwight Yorke, was inspired to join the show after seeing an event they put on in London.

It is believed that Brighton-born Katie will be there to cheer on her son at the competition.

Earlier this year she posted a video on social media of Harvey playing Beethoven’s Fur Elise on the keyboard.

The mother of five, who lives with her children at Dial Post, near Horsham, gushed over her son’s musical ability and her Instagram followers were in agreement.

Fans commented on the piece saying Harvey had “skills” and that his abilities were “amazing”.

They urged Katie to encourage him in the hope that he would go on to perform more.

Harvey has more than 126,000 followers on Instagram, even though Katie had apparently been initially concerned about letting him have an account.

Autism’s Got Talent has been running since 2012 and highlights the skills of

children and adults with autism.

The event consists of singers, actors, musicians and dance troupes showing off their talents before a packed crowd.

A statement on the Anna Kennedy Online website, a company that helps raise autism awareness, said: “Autism’s Got Talent provides a platform and great opportunity to replace negative aspects with hope, fun, laughter and inclusion.

“This showcase is unique to any other projects across the world.

“We aim to continue to build Autism’s Got Talent year by year and we want all those involved to have fun, do what they love, make friends and be themselves, and have one night which is all about them.”
