ELTON SCHIPPERS
Aged 38, of Preston Road, Brighton, admitted three charges of stealing bottles of perfume from Boots. Ordered to pay £207 compensation, with a £40 fine and £30 surcharge.
MARIO CAVO
Aged 24, of Ditchling Road, Brighton, found guilty of four charges of failing to identify the driver of a vehicle suspected of committing a road traffic offence in Shoreham to the police. Ordered to pay £85 costs and to pay a £66 surcharge. Banned from driving for six months.
PAIGE CHALMERS
Aged 29, of Kirby Drive, Telscombe Cliffs, guilty of failing to identify the driver of a vehicle suspected of committing a road traffic offence in Shoreham to the police. Fined £660, with a £66 surcharge and £85 costs. Six points added to her licence.
DAVID GANDOLFI
Aged 70, of Seafield Road, Hove, admitted driving at a speed in excess of 70mph on the M23. Fined £384, with a £38 surcharge and £85 costs. Six points added to his licence.
MARK WEAVER
Aged 37, of Kingsway, Hove, admitted driving at a speed in excess of 30mph on the A259, Marine Parade, Brighton. Fined £300, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Three points added to his licence.
HARRY MARSHALL
Aged 33, of Nevill Avenue, Hove, admitted driving at a speed in excess of 30mph on the A270. Fined £40, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Three points added to his licence.
ALLISON SHIELDS
Aged 51, of St Andrews Road, West Tarring, guilty of failing to identify the driver of a vehicle suspected of committing a road traffic offence in Shoreham to the police. Fined £660, with a £66 surcharge and £85 costs. Six points added to his licence.
CHRISTOPHER MURRAY
Aged 38, of Victoria Road, Worthing, admitted driving at a speed in excess of 30mph on the A259 Marine Parade, Brighton. Fined £173, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for six months.
KEVIN RYAN
Aged 54, of Clarendon Villas, Hove, admitted assaulting a woman in Hove. Fined £140, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs.
MATTHEW BARNETT
Aged 51, of Upper Hollingdean Road, Brighton, admitted five charges of stealing goods from stores including B&Q, Shoreham and John Lewis, Horsham. Given a 30-week suspended prison sentence. Ordered to pay £3,206 compensation, with a £115 surcharge and £85 costs.
KIRSTEN HOCKING
Aged 27, of Lyndhurst Road, Worthing, admitted 13 theft charges from Sainsbury’s in Goring. Given a 24-week suspended prison sentence, with a £115 surcharge. Put under an exclusion order not to enter the store for one year.
JORDAN THOMSON
Aged 26, of no fixed address, admitted stealing barbecue beef steaks from Marks and Spencer in Worthing. Fined £20, with a £30 surcharge and £100 costs.
DAVID MITCHELL
Aged 73, of Widewater Close, Lancing, admitted failing to identify the driver of a vehicle suspected of committing a road traffic offence in Shoreham to the police. Fined £270, with a £30 surcharge and £250 costs. Six points added to his licence.
ALEXANDER BARTHOLOMEW
Aged 25, of New Heritage Way, North Chailey, admitted driving without insurance. Fined £150, with a £30 surcharge, and £85 costs.
GUY CHAPMAN
Aged 53, of Davigdor Road, Hove, found guilty of driving through a red light in Portslade. Fined £220, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Three points added to his licence.
