BORIS Johnson has been pictured with his partner in the Sussex countryside just days after the pair were reported to have had a “blazing row”.

Pictures in national newspapers show the 55-year-old prospective Prime Minister looking lovingly at his girlfriend Carrie Symonds, 31, in what appears to be a garden.

Police were called in the early hours of Friday morning to Miss Symond’s £750,000 apartment in Camberwell, South London, after a neighbour contacted them saying they heard a woman screaming followed by “slamming and banging”.

Two police cars and a van arrived at the scene shortly after midnight.

A spokesman said: “At 12.24am on Friday police responded to a call from a local resident in South London. The caller was concerned for the welfare of a female neighbour.

“Police attended and spoke to all occupants of the address, who were all safe and well.

"There were no offences or concerns apparent to the officers and there was no cause for police action.”

The neighbour, Tom Penn, also contacted The Guardian and said he “felt it was of important public interest” to do so.

After pictures of Mr Johnson and Miss Symonds enjoying time together in a secret Sussex countryside location emerged online earlier today a friend of the couple said: “The truth is they love each other very much and want to get married as soon as the time is right.”

But others have claimed the image is staged.
