NEW jobs have been created at a growing financial services company.

More than 50 roles have been opened up at UTP Merchant Services, Hastings, after the company expanded its sales operations and call centre to nearby St Leonards.

UTP Merchant Services, established in 2013, opened its doors at Ocean House in 2016, with an initial intake of 14 members of staff, but will look to increase its headcount to more than 75 in the coming months.

UTP provides a range of credit card machines for small to medium businesses in the UK.

The company has seen a surge in demand for its services as customers start to become cashless, and retailers require the latest processing from countertop card machines and mobile credit card services to virtual processing.

Jaime Lowe, sales director at UTP, said “We are committed to investing in the right space for our dedicated team of staff so we can continue to attract and retain the highest calibre of employee, and to therefore provide uncompromising levels of service for customers up and down the country.”
