YOUNG dancers are on a high ahead of an international tournament.

The Rox School of Dance is sending 32 students to compete in the Dance World Cup in Braga, Portugal.

Rox, which is based at Cardinal Newman School in Hove, is representing England at the tournament for the second year running.

Dancers aged eight to 14 will take part in the competition, which kicks off on Friday.

To celebrate their achievement the youngsters were offered a trip on the i360 on Brighton seafront to take some team photos.

A school spokesman said the children were excited to be representing their country.
