POLICE have issued an appeal to track down a driver who knocked over a four-year-old boy.
The motorist was driving on the B2182 Holliers Hill at Bexhill at 3pm on Monday.
The boy suffered cuts to his head and bruising, and had to be taken to the Conquest Hospital for treatment and observation.
Officers say the driver failed to leave details with the child’s father, who was with his son at the time.
PC Richard Trundle has appealed for information or footage of the incident. Witnesses can call 101 or report information to Sussex Police online, quoting 1223 of 01/07.
