A BUS was left with a smashed windscreen this morning after it crashed into the back of another one.
The Brighton and Hove Route 46 bus had stopped at the level crossing near Portslade train station, only for another one of the company’s fleet to plough into the back of it.
The wing mirror of one bus pierced the back of the other.
Marie Samsom, communications buses for Brighton and Hove Buses, said: “At 11.05am this morning, a Brighton and Hove bus on Route 46 stopped at the Portslade Train Station crossing. Unfortunately, a Route 6 bus hit the back of the 46 bus.
“Drivers on both buses checked to see if anybody was injured and they were not. Passengers were then transferred to Portslade Station to catch alternative buses.”
