LOVE Island fans can now take a trip to the villa without ever leaving the city.

This summer the Love Island experience will be coming to Brighton Seafront.

Fans of the hit ITV show will be able to watch the nightly episodes in surroundings that look almost exactly like those on the programme.

The Love Island Experience, set up by the same group that organises the Luna Beach Cinema and Friendsfest, will take place in Madeira Drive from July 19 until the show’s finale on July 29. The final 11 nights of romance and drama will be available to view on the beach from the replica firepit set while relaxing with friends.

George Wood, founder of The Luna Cinema, said: “People love witnessing that world, and they all talk about it the next day in the office. It’s event TV that everyone talks about. We are going to build the sets from the villa and it really becomes a fan experience.

“The whole site will be incredible for selfies. You can pose with life sized prints of the islanders.

“We’ve got the replica of the firepit set and the bedroom itself. They can’t stay in the beds though, it would be good if they could, maybe that’s an idea next year. And we have the beach hut where people go to the diary room.”

In partnership with ITV, the Love Island Experience will play host to some very special guests.

George said: “We have access to the islanders as well – through our partnership – so they will be coming here after leaving the villa. We’ll have first access to them. As soon as they fly back they’ll be coming back to Brighton. We have previous islanders coming down as well. For the first night we will have a big star of last year’s show in attendance but we can’t say who it is yet.”

But if you’re planning on heading down in the hope of finding love yourself you may be disappointed.

George said: “There won’t be any coupling up here, it’s more about fans engaging with it and immersing themselves in the show.”

An eight metre screen will be built so fans can watch the action unfold, and possibly help cheer Worthing’s Amy Hart to victory. Amy has been tipped as one of the favourites to win the show, but should she fall short she may well be making an appearance on Brighton seafront as part of the Love Island experience.

George said: “When we were putting it together we wanted to make sure the experience was unlike anything else. Watching at home on the sofa is great but watching it with the atmosphere of everyone else adds a totally new dimension.”
