POLICE are searching for a man who has been missing since Wednesday.

Officers are trying to find Shaminder Randhay who was last seen leaving an address in Eastbourne where he had been staying.

A Sussex Police spokesman said there are "no suspicious circumstances surrounding his disappearance at this time but concerns have been expressed for his current state of mind".

The 27-year-old, also known as Alex, is of South Asian appearance.

He is 6ft 2in tall and slim with short dark hair, but the clothing he was wearing when he left is not known.

He is not believed to have had a car.

Anyone who sees Shaminder in or around Eastbourne, or elsewhere, is asked to contact Sussex Police on 999 quoting serial 502/07.

He has now been found.

At 10.52am today a Sussex Police spokesman said: "Shaminder Randhay, 27, who had been missing from the address where he was staying in Eastbourne since Wednesday, has been found safe in the town this morning.

"A police appeal for public help in finding him had been issued on Saturday."
