TWO men have been arrested after £50,000 worth of cocaine was found.
A BMW in Edburton Road, Brighton, was pulled over on Thursday.
One of the passengers ran off with a bag and threw it into a nearby garden.
He was detained and the bag was found to have half a kilo of drugs in it, believed to be cocaine.
He has been arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class A drug with intent to supply.
Tests are now being carried to determine the exact contents of the package.
Another man has been arrested for being concerned in supplying drugs.
Both men are from south London and have been bailed until August 5 pending further investigation.
The arrests were made during a police operation aimed at tackling knife and drug crime in the city.
