A PENSIONER was Tasered after armed police responded to reports of a suspected gunman.
Police were called to Pankhurst Avenue, Brighton at 1.50pm to reports of a man with a gun.
Officers surrounded the house before searching the property.
At 2.50pm, police Tasered a 68-year-old man and arrested him on suspicion of affray and obstructing or resisting a constable in the execution of their duty.
He remained in custody at 4.50pm on Wednesday.
A woman was also in the house but was not arrested or harmed.
The incident is not connected with any other incidents in Brighton earlier today.
