Aged 49, of Ditchling Road, Brighton, admitted assaulting a police officer and failing to turn up to court. Ordered to complete 15 rehabilitation sessions, and to pay £50 compensation, £85 surcharge and £85 costs.
ELIZABETH MCVEY
Aged 47, of Preston Park Avenue, admitted drink driving in Seaford. Tested positive for 172 microgrammes (mcg) of alcohol per 100 millilitres (ml) of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg per 100ml. Ordered to complete 80 hours of unpaid work and ten rehabilitation sessions. To pay £85 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for three years.
JONATHAN TREDWELL
Aged 53, of Lyndhurst Road, Worthing, admitted stealing a television from Beales Department Store worth £369. Ordered to complete 15 rehabilitation sessions, with £369 compensation, £85 surcharge, and £100 costs.
KATHRYN GOBLE
Aged 39, of The Strand, Goring, admitted drug driving with diazepam in her blood. Fined £415, with a £41 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for one year.
CALLUM ATKINSON
Aged 22, of Moyne Close, Hove, found guilty of failing to identify the driver suspected of a road traffic offence in Shoreham to the police. Fined £660, with a £66 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for one year.
PETER ODERO
Aged 62, of Cooksbridge Road, Brighton, admitted driving at a speed in excess of 30mph in Marine Parade. Fined £866, with a £86 surcharge and £85 costs. Four points added to his licence.
ALEXANDER LAWRENCE
Aged 40, of Downland Avenue, Southwick, admitted driving at a speed in excess of 30mph in Marine Parade, Brighton. Fined £346, with a £34 surcharge and £85 costs. Three points added to his licence.
HANISH VIJAY GIGA
Aged 32, of Church Road, Portslade, found guilty of stealing a children’s toy and book worth £18.98 from TK Maxx in North Street, Brighton. Fined £440, with a £44 surcharge, and £300 costs.
ASHLEY WATTS
Aged 20, of Audrey Close, Brighton, admitted drunk and disorderly behaviour and assaulting a police officer. Given conditional discharge, with a £20 surcharge and £85 costs.
DAMIAN HURLEY
Aged 46, of Downs Way, Shoreham, admitted driving at a speed in excess of 60mph on the A24 at Dial Post. Fined £40, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Three points added to his licence.
VAUGHAN MARTIN
Aged 28, of Meadway Court, Southwick, admitted assaulting a man and causing £531 worth of damage to a car. Ordered to complete 160 hours of unpaid work and pay £728 compensation, with £85 surcharge and £85 costs.
MICHAEL WALLIS
Aged 29, of Lyndhurst Road, Worthing, admitted theft, possessing cannabis, crack cocaine, and heroin, failing to show up to court, and breaching a conditional discharge for stealing a bicycle. Ordered to complete 15 rehabilitation sessions.
LUKE BEST
Aged 26, of South Coast Road, Peacehaven, admitted stealing dog food worth £45 from Pets Corner, Shoreham. Ordered to complete 13 rehabilitation sessions and pay £45 compensation.
HELEN CLARKE
Aged 70, of Gordon Road, Shoreham, admitted drink driving. Tested positive for 183mcg of alcohol per 100ml of blood. The legal limit is 80mcg per 100ml of blood. Fined £473, with a £47 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 17 months.
