A CRASH between a car and a bus is blocking the A24.
The crash happened at about 9am today near Washington.
Emergency services attended the scene.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "We received a report of a crash between a bus and a car on the Washington Roundabout, Storrington Road, Washington, at 9.22am.
"The driver of a Ford Fiesta suffered minor injuries along with a passenger on the bus.
"The bus driver was not hurt.
"The road was blocked for a while while the vehicles were removed.
"It re-opened at 11.40am."
An AA spokesman said: “The road is partially blocked and there is slow traffic due to a crash involving a car and a bus involved on the A283 The Pike Eastbound at theA24 London Road.”
He also warned drivers to expect slow traffic in the roads approaching the roundabout.
A spokesman for the South East Coast Ambulance Service said: "We were called at about 9.30am by police informing us of a crash on the A24 at the Washington roundabout involving a car and a bus.
"At least two patients were treated on the scene.
"One passenger on the bus declined further hospital treatment.
"A patient in one of the cars was treated for injuries but did not require further hospital treatment."
