Hundreds went to the Save Our Beach march in Newhaven

Residents wanted to highlight the importance of the beach to those trying to change it

The beach is considered a key part of Newhaven by its residents

We also met Deborah Miarkowska, from Hove, owner of the online fair trade jewellery company EcoChic, presented MEP Caroline Lucas with some jewellery

The Green Party wants Brighton and Hove to become Britain’s first ethical jeweller hub, selling fair trade gold and conflict-free diamonds

Ms Lucas, currently the MP for Brighton Pavilion, wanted to show her support for Deborah and her jewellery

And these medical students were pictured during an organ drawing exercise at the Teaching Building at the University of Sussex, Falmer
