We also met Deborah Miarkowska, from Hove, owner of the online fair trade jewellery company EcoChic, presented MEP Caroline Lucas with some jewellery
The Green Party wants Brighton and Hove to become Britain’s first ethical jeweller hub, selling fair trade gold and conflict-free diamonds
Ms Lucas, currently the MP for Brighton Pavilion, wanted to show her support for Deborah and her jewellery
