AMY Hart was the star guest at a new Love Island cinema experience.

Fans flocked to Luna Beach Cinema in the rain on Friday night to welcome the Worthing girl who has become a household name thanks to her appearance on the TV dating show.

Despite the drizzle, Amy was in high spirits and ready to enjoy Brighton’s first Love Island Experience.

Fans can now watch the final 11 nights of the show at the outdoor cinema on the beach in Madeira Drive.

Amy, who is from Worthing, said: “The whole set-up is absolutely amazing.

“They have a replica of the fire pit from the show. It’s a true home away from home down here.”

The former air stewardess left the show after a break-up with her “half-boyfriend” on the show, ballroom dancer Curtis Pritchard.

At one stage the couple had been favourites to win.

Despite the trauma of the split, Amy said she “would do it all again” and could not have asked for better help from ITV to get her through her struggles.

She said: “I couldn’t fault them. Their support was 24/7.

“Even when I came home there were people still keeping in touch with me every day to make sure I was OK.

“It was literally the best place to have gone through a break-up because of all the support I have had. The public have also been amazing.

“I still have my moments, it was really tough, I did genuinely love him, but being out is brilliant.”

Amy hopes she and Curtis can still be friends once the show is over and she is looking forward to finding love again.

Speaking of new love, the 26-year-old said: “I just want to meet someone really honest, really kind, and someone who really loves me. I have learned how to fall in love, so I know that can happen again. And it turns out I am a lot stronger than I think I am.”

Amy is to be a guest panellist on lunchtime TV chat show Loose Women, which features different women from the entertainment and journalism worlds.

She hopes to do more presenting and TV work, having been told she is a “natural on camera”.

Amy said she would love fellow ITV stars Jordan and Anna to win the Love Island contest, but has a feeling Tommy and Molly may overtake them.

When giving advice to aspiring Love Island contenders, Amy said: “You just have to enjoy it. It’s hard not to over-think things when you’re there, but just enjoy it for what it is.”
