ONE campaigner has suggested making the i360 a Star Trek-themed attraction to turn its fortunes around.
Sussex Homeless Support activist Jim Deans suggested approaching television production company Viacom to create a Trekkie attraction complete with Klingons.
The odd suggestion came at a Brighton and Hove City Council meeting.
Mr Deans said Destination Star Trek, a convention in Birmingham, had drawn thousands.

He claimed Trekkies paid up to £1,200 to walk around dressed as their favourite Star Trek characters.
Council leader Nancy Platts thanked Mr Deans for one of the most interesting questions that she had ever received but confessed to not being a Trekkie.
Council officer Nick Hibberd confessed to not being a Trekkie either but offered to put the idea to the i360 general manager.
