Road closed after person hit by vehicle
A TEENAGE girl is seriously injured after being hit by a van.
The girl was hit after getting off the bus near Pelham Rise, Peacehaven, at about 3.50pm.
The road was closed while the girl was treated by paramedics.
A Sussex Police spokeswoman said: "Emergency services have been called to a report of a collision involving a van and a pedestrian in Collingwood Close, Peacehaven, at 3.53pm.
"The pedestrian, a teenage girl, has suffered serious injuries and is being treated by paramedics.
"The road is closed while the incident is ongoing."
