PROTESTS will take place tomorrow against the Universal Credit benefits system.
Unite Community, a trade union representing unwaged people, will gather at the Clock Tower in Brighton city centre at 1pm to protest against the programme.
The union says it causes “holiday hunger” in children as claimants do not get enough to feed their families.
A spokeswoman said: “Holiday hunger is a real and serious problem for many children because UC is fundamentally flawed.”
