FIRE crews removed a person from a car after a crash involving a motorbike.
The road is shut and emergency services are attending the scene following the collision.
A West Sussex Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "The B2139 in Houghton, north of Arundel, is currently closed following a crash involving a motorcycle and a car.
"Crews from Littlehampton Fire Service extricated one person using hydraulic rescue equipment.
"Sussex Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service crews are currently at the scene."
Police are blocking the road.
A spokesman for Horsham police said: "The B2139 at Amberley is currently closed due to a crash between the train station and Bury Hill, please use an alternative route."
